Name + Time Question
Ally 1:10 Can you explain the method for treating icepick scars on the temple area?
Ally 3:48 What is the best treatment for a prematurely aging neck?
Ally 4:52 Have you ever seen melasma get worse from a peel? I’d like some clarification on how to use a combo of TCA and Jessner for melasma, which strengths to use, and whether I need to work up to those peels by starting with Mandelic peels. Thanks!
Laurie 7:59 I want to combine an eye, lip and overall peel for my face, neck and chest area. I have a few spots of milia that I also want to go over with an extra pass. Can you give me any planning tips so that I can do this in the best order. Also, what pitfalls should I avoid?
Bess 9:36 I am 56 years old and live in a dry high altitude climate. I’ve done the combination of TCA 13% and Jessner’s peels in the past for the treatment of sun damage spots, unevenness and roughness. I’d like to try adding Dream Peel to that combination of TCA and Jessner’s for a more advanced peel and possibly help lighten my sun damaged areas. My question is this, after following the multi-layer application, per the guidelines for TCA and Jessner’s, how would I proceed from that point if I wanted to add Dream Peel to that protocol? I also deal with dry/dehydrated skin is mostly very tough with very little sensitivity. Also with the addition of Dream Peel added to the Multi-Layer protocol, how many treatments and how often would this particular combination be considered in a series? Thank you!!
Sara LeCroy 12:22 I have deep eleven lines (I am 52) What are my best options besides botox? My forearm skin has mild sun damage but my skin is thin, would mild peels help? I have a few small brown (freckle size) spots in my eye troughs, I have done 7 tca, 13, tca and was wondering, is there a way to use Jessner’s on that area to get more of a peel? What is your opinion about pdo threads? Sara
Natalie Tyree 19:48 For my next treatment I’m going to use 20% tca I have large scars and went to do the cross method After 2 layers of the 20% could I put the 30% on my larger scars with a q tip?
Natalie 21:25 Hello..I have a couple of raised bumps..like skin tags but a bit bigger.. can you please tell me which peel and how to use the peel to have them removed??? Thanks!!!
Tammy Edwards 23:30 What can be done for the dreaded “orange peel” look on the chin area?
Jan 25:02 Hi, I’m early 60s I’m needing help with brown marks,Lines around my eyes.11 lines, ( I’m resistant to Botox) And slacking skin. I’d like my face back x
Becci 27:15 If the goal of TCA CROSS is to leave the scabs attached as long as possible, is it contradictory to apply several layers of a lesser percent over top and additionally apply luminosity or dream peel? The multi-layer tca makes my skin peel off in sheets, often taking the scabs with it. Will this still give me the best results of cross?
Cindy Goodfellow 28:56 I’m wondering if I can use the psc tooth pick to apply copper x2 into the scars (not hard) I’m having a hard time getting it in the hole so it’s mostly all over my face lol
Lisa 30:47 I have a couple stubborn scars on my nose that are shallow What can I do to improve them?
Glenda 31:56 After a 13% TcA peel , when can I commence using the following products? -Matrixyl 10%, niacinamide 10% zinc 1%, Alpha Arbutin 2% HA (all products by The Ordinary) Thank you
Carol Gilson 33:16 I am turning 65, have been using your products faithfully. I use Retin A at night, then Regenerate Concentrate and Platinum eyes daily. I also do Tca Peels with Dream Peel. 20%. I feel like overnight these products aren’t working as well as before. Is there anything I can add to my skincare plan to get back on track. My skin is very used to the strong products I use, it’s looked so much better. Any ideas? Thank you, I love your products!!
Danielle 35:39 How often can I do a TSC 20 peel?
Nicole 36:30 I’ve been using the TCA peel 10% last winter and 13% currently, totaling about eight applications. I’m hoping to lighten these huge age spots on my arms, décolletage, and face. I’ve notice some improvements but I’m starting to give up. What timeframe should I expect to get rid of the spots. I’m up to three layers of 13% with lots of peeling. I spend a lot of time outside and wear sunscreen and long sleeves but I may just give up on the peels. Any advice is welcome. Thanks!
Nazli 38:36 How get rid of hyperpigmentation. I’m afraid to make it more in reaction

Noni 41:23 I am 63 and I have some freckles, which have faded a lot, and I am getting many more wrinkles under my eye and around my lips. I use in the am: lactic acid cleanser, hylaronic acid, vitamin C, derma snap, eye serum, and spf 50. At night I use cleanser, fusion A and serum 30 mixed with moisturizing cream- alternating days, eye serum. I work full time and do not have much down time. Any other recommendations?

Kelly 49:59 Once you start peeling what should you do? Moisturize? Use rubbing alcohol to dry so you peel more? When do you exfoliate? 7 days? 10 days?
Ann Reid 51:25 I used two coats of Jessners on my hands, left it on overnight and don’t see any signs of peeling. I never saw any whitish spots or felt anything.
Angie 52:48 Hi, I would like to know how to us the TCA peels (13%) in a regimen that includes Redlight Mask and nano needling session? How many days\/hours apart from each please. Thank you
Jeannie Ayd 54:12 I completed a peel which consisted of 2 layers of Jessners, 2 layers of TCA 20% and a top layer of Dream peel. Post care with essential and Emu oils. I have not started peeling as yet. I did the peel this past Sunday night. Should I use luminosity as well? I skipped my vitamin C serum until the flaking is done.
Mariam A 55:33 Hello Jennifer Thank you so much for your products and all the information that you put out there. I am currently doing a TCA series and I just completed the second one. The results are great so far. My only issue is that I break out and deal with acne on my forehead afterwards, can I use the serum 15 in between peels to keep my face acne free?
Jamie Clark 57:19 Treating a daughter with blemish-prone skin. She is currently applying a prescription strength Clindamycin gel nightly. Is Clindamycin safe and effective? If so, where would you insert this product with your acne starter kit?

Nelia Dembowski 59:18 Can you do a TCA peel if you have active pimples?
Jan 1:00:24 I’ve been reading about possible inaction between Copper Peptides & Retin A. Do you know if there is also an issue when using any of the PSC Fusion A levels & any of your products containing Copper? How & when is your best suggestion to apply your products. Thank you very much for addressing this question for me. I’ve been reading that it’s best to apply Copper in the morning & Vitamin C products at night. I’m very confused because I thought Vitamin C had to be used during the daytime for the best results.
Teri 1:02:46 1) what happens if you don’t use fade bright for 2 weeks? How will the peel vary? 2) I want to do a 30% on my front thighs. Or should I do my whole leg? Is fade bright also necessary on your legs 2 weeks prior? A seasoned face peeler!! New to legs. Thanks Ladies.
Katherine Williams 1:04:22 What can I use not too harsh for deep wrinkles. Something I can use and be ok in public.
Cindy goodfellow 1:05:31 My last question hopefully lol is the restoration for eyes! I’m 31 and I notice lines right under my eyes. I’ve gotten Botox there a few times but I wouldn’t say it’s the complete fix as it’s Not crows feet but very close to my water line. How close to my eye can the products go?
Cindy Goodfellow 1:07:36 This question is for my husband and I’m sure you remember me and my million questions ha ha! He really loves your beard conditioner (we just bought last 5 you had in stock and hopefully this will keep him good for a bit). and I know we chatted about adding oil into moisturizer so we tried that last night to try to savour the beard conditioner but he doesn’t like the smell of the healing oil and hates the feel/smell. What else can we use since he doesn’t like the oil – we are from Canada so we can’t buy emu and I’m not sharing my complex b (sorry not sorry lol) Another thing he’s wondering is how long does this product last unopened?
Celvie P 1:08:54 I am currently on Tazorac 0.1% and have gotten quite a few VI peels. I really want to target residual hyperpigmentation and mild boxcar acne scars. Would your recommendation be to conduct ‘Jessner + TCA’ peel? Or, would it be to build my tolerance with ‘TCA 13%’ and slowly work my way up to TCA 20% w\/5layers? PS. I have built up my skin tolerance. And, I know you’ll be wondering, I do use FadeBright. Thank you for your help.
Cindy Goodfellow 1:11:10 How long does fusion a last? In context of it being used within a timeframe. I bought .25 thinking it was time for me to bump up. And my skin hasn’t adjusted and keeps drying out even with adding it into complex b and healing blend(im from Canada so I can’t get emu) so I just ordered more .15 and my plan is to use .15 for 2 days in a row and then one day of.25 and repeat and then slowly add more days of the .25… but my .25 will last longer I know there’s about a one year once it’s opened. Just wondering roughly if this is the timeline to still keep in mind.
Aedah 1:13:31 I have deep scar acne which chemicals peel I can use and what products before and after thank you
Tina Keys 1:15:32 Hello, I am a Fitz between 3&4 with alot of freckles, age spots, & atrophic scars. I purchased the TCA 13% with the Fade Bright, & TCA 30%(I thought) w/wooden picks, to perform the Cross method application. I watched ALL videos @ least 10x’s. I did the Cross method, & saw very little white rings around scars. Then followed by entire face peel. I rinsed w\/cold water, etc. Emu Oil,etc. When done I picked up bottle of TCA 30%. I made a mistake & purchased Glycolic 30%!, NOT-TCA! I called company & talked to an agent. She said, I had ordered the Glycolic by mistake. So, I purchased a bottle of TCA 30%. It will arrive in about a week. My question is…Do I still have to wait 5weeks until my next Cross method? Or, can I use the TCA 30% as soon as it arrives? Sincerely, Tina Keys
Ardella Altamirando 1:16:41 What is difference between Fusion A .15 and Luminosity A?
Shelley Williams 1:17:47 I’m looking to get the most bang for my buck with growth factors. Do I get more EGF with Regenerate or 1 EGF in a Dr. potion? Is the excoct same growth factor used in both products?

Have your phonec# shown on the screen, read questions ahead of time so that if you have to post a reference where the info. can be found, it will be easier for the participants to understand your valuable information. it’s not the content, but the preparation and organization of info. dispersed. Just a suggestion….thank you for your time and efforts.

  2. Gidday from Australia. New to peeling and wondering how to use TCA 7% (for hooded eyes) and 13% (rebuilding facial collagen). 57 YO. No melasma, no fine lines, no acne. Just the start of sagging (eyes and some jowling) due to loss of collagen ..oh yes…also my trusty no. 11s. Im particularly interested in how I can incorporate TCA peels with Microneedling, Tretinoin 0.25%, copper peptides, and vitamin C (I also use other actives such as glycolic 10% and salicylic 2% from time to time to control melasma) Are any contraindictions or irritation factors using these actives or microneedling with TCA? Thanks so much!! Julz

    1. Please see here for the Eye Peel: #16 Eye Peel Page
TCA will help to stimulate collagen, elastin and glycosaminoglycans. You can do a monthly TCA 13 on the rest of the face and do an extra layer on your 11’s to really target them. Retinoids, Copper, Vitamin C… you have great products there. Keep it up.

Big thing is to keep your needling and peels separate. Do one at a time a good 30 days apart. See here: https://www.platinumskincare.com/mixing-different-treatments-peels-needling-ipl-lasers-microdermabrasions/

  4. Hello
I am considering Tca 13% peel. I’m very fair skinned. Going to be 62 I have problems with cystic acne and some scarring. If you have no active acne. What will happen to the cyst on the face? When you apply the peel? Sebaceous cysts. Have a sac under them. Surgical removal has been done on some with very little success because they do grow back.. Would I avoid application to them? Would appeal caused them to become active and begin to drain? My MN has decreased their size. I have sun damage and age spots. Thank you

    1. Hello. First we want the acne controlled. If you are prone to cystic, this is the regimen:
am: AB Cleanser + Regenerate EGF + Vitamin B Complex
      pm: AB Cleanser + Regenrate EGF + Fusion A .15 + Vitamin B Complex

Peels: Jessners or TCA 13 or Jessners + TCA 13 *I suggest beginning with Jessners by itself. Do a peel with 2 layers and work up to 3 and 4 layers. Then try a TCA 13 peel at 2 layers. Then try Jessners at 1 layer + TCA 13. Doing BOTH acids would be very beneficial for your scars and the Jessners will help the acne.

If you have any current blemishes…the peel will help to dry them up.
As layers of skin come off… deeper cysts will come up and out. Continue with the daily regimen and monthly peels to get a hold of this. A series of 6-8 in a row will be warranted. Continue on after that with the peels as needed.

Copper can be used for the scars as well. Super Cop2x as a spot treatment. Or Super CP Serum all over if that is easier.
